Reliable insulation for every home

Radiant barrier blocks up to 97% of the radiant heat that enters the home’s attic, thus reducing the heat in the attic by as much as 28%. That means less heat will get from the attic into the home.

Old insulation may need to be removed, especially when it has been saturated with pest feces or damaged by water or smoke. We’ll make sure your old insulation is safely removed and the attic vacuumed.

Under floor insulation is installed when there is a crawl space under the floor. It helps to create a total thermal envelope by minimizing heat or cold that would otherwise come through the floor into the home.

Attic insulation has the lowest up-front cost and quickest return on investment. Up to 35% of a home’s heat loss and gain is through the attic. The proper amount of attic insulation can also reduce heating and cooling costs up to 35%. We install TAP insulation because this is the only insulation that is licensed and approved to be advertised to control pests.

Air sealing saves energy by stopping what is called the “chimney effect.” Air that has been heated or cooled can be drawn into the attic by leaks at the ceiling created by electrical, plumbing, venting, and lighting penetrations. This makes the house feel drafty and raises energy bills. We seal around all such penetrations.

All equipment is truck mounted, so there is only a three-inch hose that comes into your home. There are no blowing machines on your lawn or driveway.
To protect the walls and furniture and to keep dust to a minimum, plastic is placed on the floor and walls, and around the attic access.
Insulation is attached to the back side of the attic access to ensure a complete insulation job.
Attic prep work includes blocking and barriers around can lights and eave vents. A batt insulation wall is placed around the attic access to prevent insulation from falling into the home.
Blowing the insulation in the attic is a simple and safe process. It takes a minimal amount of time, usually only a couple of hours, and does not require the homeowner to leave their home during the process.
The R value refers to inches of insulation. For instance, R-30 fiberglass blown-in insulation is 11.1 inches and R-38 is 13.8 inches of insulation. It is important that the insulation is level throughout the attic to ensure the proper R value and energy savings benefits.
At Major League Pest, we can’t recommend monitoring your home’s insulation strongly enough. That’s because insulation can:
Energy costs are on the rise. At least 40% of the heat loss or gain in a house is through the attic. Adding insulation to the attic can reduce energy usage up to 35%. Your home will not only be more eco-friendly, it will help you save up to 35% on your monthly energy bills as well.
Insulation has the lowest up-front cost and the quickest return on investment versus the other energy savings products on the market. Insulation will start paying for itself immediately and give a lifetime of savings.
Adding insulation to the attic reduces noise and makes the indoor environment more comfortable. With less energy usage and formaldehyde-free insulation we reduce the amount of carbon emissions into our environment. That is good for all of us.

Enrique, Alex and Daniel did an excellent job repairing the fascia and shade structure that were damaged by termites and dry rot.

We chose this company because of their great reviews on Google, but it’s a decision we now regret. Our experience was a huge disappointment which only caused additional and unwanted stress.

I’ve had a fantastic experience with Major League Pest Control for years! My technician, Tony, is absolutely the best—professional, knowledgeable, and always goes above and beyond.

Working with Paul was a complete breath of fresh air. I completely trust him as he went above and beyond to show me exactly what was going on and not try to oversell me on any treatment.
